Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales are the latest PlayStation games to get PC ports, following a renewed push by Sony to enter the lucrative PC games market. In a recent investor report, the company revealed projections that it would net USD $300 million (AU $413 million) from PC game sales in FY22 – and while the ‘how’ was unclear at the time, the latest State of Play illuminated a bit more of the company’s plans.
The award-winning Marvel’s Spider-Man, which houses one of the best depictions of hero Peter Parker in modern media, is set to launch on PC on 12 August 2022. This will be the remastered version of the game, which features a new face model for Peter and refreshed textures across the board.
If you’ve yet to play this modern gaming masterpiece, now is the time. As an added bonus, it’s likely the game launching on PC will allow for the inclusion of mods. Expect to see some wild sights when the game hits the market – potentially in the form of skins or other fun additions.

While not revealed in the PlayStation State of Play, this blog post confirmed Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will also be getting a PC port. This game originally launched with the PlayStation 5 in 2020, and has enjoyed much success since then.
It’s a frankly excellent action-adventure that stands as testament to the power of video games.
Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales will launch in Spring 2022 (Southern Hemisphere), following the launch of Marvel’s Spider-Man on 12 August 2022.
