A brand new PlayStation State of Play has officially been announced for March 10, with the promise it’ll bring fresh news about upcoming games from a range of publishers. We haven’t seen a new State of Play in quite some time – largely because Horizon Forbidden West has dominated the PlayStation gaming calendar of the last few months. Now, it’s time for some new titles to shine.

According to Sony, this latest State of Play will clock in at around 20 minutes. It appears there’s a focus on Japanese publishers, but there’ll also be updates from other developers around the world.

So, what can we expect?

So-called ‘industry insiders’ have flagged that news about Hogwarts Legacy may be coming, and this could include a release date. We could also hear more about upcoming titles like Marvel’s Midnight Suns, Gotham Knights, and Ghostwire: Tokyo.

Any surprise announcements will likely come from the ‘beloved Japanese publishers‘ Sony mentions in its announcement, so we could see new or upcoming titles from Capcom, Bandai Namco, Square Enix, Atlus, or Sega. Each company works closely with Sony and PlayStation, and could have something big to reveal.

Whatever happens, it should be a solid show.
