Marvel Rivals – The Death of Psylocke case guide

The next phase of the Apocalypse event is open, with the Death of Psylocke challenge now available for players in Marvel Rivals. The new case has you investigating Psylocke’s murder to grab yourself another gallery card and progress through the event.

How to solve the Death of Psylocke

To solve the Death of Psylocke, tab over to the Gather Clues section and interact with all the highlighted areas around the painting. Look for shiny spots around the edges, on the weapon and in other environmental details. Collecting all of them will give you the clue tags needed to uncover what happened.

Once you have all the clues, you need to fill in the blanks using the correct tags. The answers draw from what has been established across the wider investigation, piecing together details uncovered through Loki, Daredevil and other characters involved in the story so far. Simply cross-reference what you know from previous chapters and slot in the tags that fit the established narrative.

• Case Description: LOKI, DESTINY, PAINT, BLOOD, PSYLOCKE, WATERCOLOR UNIVERSE, ILLUSION, MAGIK, UNDEAD ENERGY, DRAWN.

Apocalypse event lore so far

In terms of the story running through the Apocalypse event, Loki is currently on a mischievous killing spree. He believed killing Psylocke would grant him the power of her alternate universe bloodline to complete a ritual. Instead, it only allowed him to redraw fragments of a lost world. His goal was to rewrite his own destiny using these special powers, but the plan hasn’t gone as expected.

This follows the previous chapter where Wolverine was killed by the Winter Soldier, who drained him of his regenerative blood.

When is the next murder case?

The next murder case opens at roughly 8:00 AM BST on July 16th. That’s 00:00 PT, 03:00 EST and 09:00 CEST.
