Want the fastest flying mounts in Palworld? Here are the best picks

Even though you’ll be running around most of the time during your early adventures in Palworld, you’ll soon realize that it is definitely not the most optimal way of traveling.

Instead, doing a bit of flying is probably what you want to take advantage of since you can mount Pals and avoid any annoying traversal.

So, if you’re looking to take to the skies and do some serious flying in Palworld, having the fastest Pals enables time saves galore. Here are our top picks.

Fastest flying Pals in Palworld

There are a number of Pals you can utilize for flying purposes, but there are certainly a select few that you should be using if you want to be traversing as fast as possible.

If you’re looking for the outright fastest flying Pal, Jetragon is your choice here. It has the highest top speed compared to any other, but the big trade-off is that it does lack stamina, meaning it’s only really great for short commutes.

Xenolord, on the other hand, is an extremely quick Pal that isn’t quite as fast as Jetragon, but it has so much more stamina. This makes it a better all-rounder, and probably my pick for who you’ll want to use for most journeys around the various regions.

Eidrolon and Shaolong can be solid alternatives to Xenolord, too, offering similar speed, so keep that in mind if Xenolord isn’t for you.

The main issue with all of these, though, is that they are late-game Pals that require you to be very high level in order to secure what’s needed to use them.

If you’re earlier on in your Palworld journey, you may just need a fast flying mount to tide you over until you’re able to secure one of those aforementioned big boys.

Suzaku or Suzaku Aqua are solid options here because instead of needing to be in the high 60s or 70s for your level, the requirements are much lower. Both have really great stamina and decent speed, making them perfect choices as upgrades from your very early game flyers.

If none of the above takes your fancy, just go out and pick up whatever flying mounts you can in the 1.0 update to test what works specifically for you. Panthalus is one to look out for, while also being a new addition to the game.
