Here’s whether Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced has any early access period

If you’re even a bit interested in pirate games, you’ll want to get in on Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, which gives the former gem a new lease of life.

Like a lot of games of today, you’re probably wondering whether you’ll need to wait for the release date like all the common folk or if there is some form of early access on offer by coughing up a few coin.

Let’s see if you can throw someone a bribe to get you into Black Flag Resynced ahead of most.

Does Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced have early access?

Contrary to what seems like the vast majority of games, there is no way of gaining early access to Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced for regular players.

Despite there being multiple editions of the game, including Standard, Deluxe, and Collector’s Edition options, none of them include a public early access period. This means even if you’re willing to shell out for a pre-order of the expensive version, it will not let you play before the official launch date.

The Deluxe Edition does include extra digital content, while the Collector’s Edition comes with physical goodies alongside the Deluxe content, but these are bonuses rather than an early entry ticket.

The only people likely to be playing Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced early are game reviewers, content creators, and other media partners who may receive access ahead of release for coverage purposes. So, if you saw a few streams or videos up ahead of launch, no, they didn’t pay more money to play; they have been given a special copy that hasn’t been released to the masses.

This may be a little disappointing if you were hoping to spend the days before launch plundering away while everyone else waited, but it does at least keep things straightforward.

So, if you’re planning to return to Edward Kenway’s pirate adventure, your choice of edition comes down to whether you want the extra content, not whether you want to play early, which is a good thing, really.
