Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced is bringing back the pirate vibes in 4K, ray-traced glory, and if you’re interested in taking to the Caribbean seas once again, you might as well get your copy bought as soon as possible.
Despite it just being a remake, there are a few editions you can pick up, and as always, you get different extras depending on how much you want to spend.
There are three Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced editions on offer, with the usual naming conventions of Standard, Deluxe, and Collector’s.
The Standard Edition is obviously the basic option, providing you with the base game only. It’s also the cheapest of the three, coming in at $59.99, ever so slightly lower than the usual $70 go-to.
The Deluxe Edition, however, is where things start to get a little more juicy. This one includes the base game, plus the Master Assassin Character Pack and Master Assassin Naval Pack. The Character Pack includes an Edward costume, sword, pistol, and trinket with unique perks, while the Naval Pack adds a sail set, ship pet, crew attire, wheel, figurehead, and hull trim.
Sadly, no DLC is bundled in, but that’s because there isn’t any actually coming with Resynced, despite additional content being available in the original. Multiplayer isn’t making the leap either, with Ubisoft focusing on the “solo experience.”
Last but not least, there’s the Collector’s Edition. This one includes a Deluxe Edition copy of the game and physical goodies such as an Edward Kenway figurine, leather logbook, wearable metal brooch, exclusive SteelBook, cloth map, and sea shanty music sheet.
Sadly, at the time of writing, it is listed as sold out, with availability depending on retailers. If you were in real need of a 31cm Edward Kenway statue for your shelf, you might be out of luck.
If you pre-ordered, you’ll also net the Crimson Pack, which contains red-themed cosmetics for you to prowl around Havana in.
