Monster Prom 3: Monster Roadtrip is getting a brand new hitchhiker and romanceable companion in the form of The Lamb, from Massive Monster’s Cult of the Lamb, with this crossover launching as part of Steam’s Halloween-themed Scream Fest. Launching on 26 October 2023, the free update for Monster Roadtrip will introduce several new hitchhiking scenes starring The Lamb, as well as a special ending, based on a potential romance with the character.
As with all romances in the extended Monster Prom universe, you will need to work to win The Lamb’s affections, but as teased in the trailer for the unexpected crossover, it appears the effort will be worthwhile. A brief cutscene between Vicky and The Lamb appears incredibly tender, with The Lamb showing off a vulnerability it certainly has no time for in its own game.
When you’re not romancing The Lamb in Monster Roadtrip, you’ll be able to spend your time listening to its sermons, or forging a friendship as you travel through a bunch of spooky and colourful locales. Along the way, you’ll also encounter The Lamb’s followers, and make decisions about their burgeoning cult.

For those yet to check out the Monster Prom series, this crossover is a great opportunity to dive into its wonderful, wholesome romances and dialogue-based gameplay.
In each game, you embody a creature looking for love amongst a host of monsters – Frankenstein creations, zombies, fish creatures, vampires, and demons. To romance your chosen beau, you’ll take part in a variety of themed activities, and work on strengthening various characteristics like fun, hype, magic, strength, and charisma.
Monster Prom has charm in spades, with its dialogue typically being sharp and very funny, with tinges of light horror, and plenty of heart. Monster Roadtrip, the latest game from developer Beautiful Glitch, expands this gameplay with a wild road trip through a rural township – one soon to be occupied by a fresh and compelling new cult.
