Marvel Rivals is getting one of its most creative skin crossovers yet. Devil Dinosaur, the prehistoric T-rex Vanguard, is getting a Jeff the Land Shark costume tomorrow, July 17th, and it is exactly as adorable and unhinged as it sounds.
The skin was revealed via the official Marvel Rivals X account on July 15th. It was teased previously in the Season 9 content roadmap, but, we didn’t know the details on the effects and other features.
What’s with the Jeff, the Devil Dinosaur skin in Marvel Rivals?
The skin is called Jeff, the Dinosaur, and it mirrors that of Jeff getting a dinosaur skin in the previous season. Jeff, the Dinosaur comes with effect changes to match. His ultimate ability gets a visual effect overhaul with customization elements. When Devil Dino activates his ultimate, the stampede footsteps get splash effects added in. The skins also shows off three chromos for eh Jeff onesie in blue pink and green.
The skin is the headline reward of the Pop and Win event, running from July 17th at 02:00 UTC through to August 14th at 02:00 UTC. Pricing hasn’t been officially confirmed ahead of launch. Though, it is a legendary skin, so will likely match other skin bundles that were released in the previous sets of around 2400 coins, depending how much is in the set.
It launches alongside two other new skins dropping with the July 16/17thth patch, Gambit’s Dead Man’s Hand and Hawkeye’s Bed-Stuy’s Best, as well as the Van Dyne Couture event which offers a free Magneto costume for players who complete event missions. The Season 3 battle pass also makes a return too, which might be worth looking into if you missed out on those old rewards.
If you plan on buying it, there’s a quick 100 Units you can get by completing the Death of Apocalypse event.
