Conan Exiles patch notes adds in a brand new story update, with Chapter 1 out now

Conan Exiles launched its Enhanced Edition several months ago, bringing what was once a barren desert back to life. And now it is also getting new content features and storyline updates. The latest Conan Exiles Enhanced patch notes reveal a new four-part story named the Legacy of the Giant-Kings. The story aims to add more narrative for the Unnamed City, revealing more about the giants that once ruled over the region.

What to expect with Conan Exiles: Legacy of the Giant-Kings first patch notes?

The update is merely a start of what is to come over the following months. The main feature is new quests and storyline to play through,. It shall lead to the first major dungeon of the storyline, the Cyclopean Halls, located beneath the Unnamed City.

This Unnamed City was, and still kind of is, home to the giants that lived in the region. At least before their apocalypse came, turning the area into a doomed desert filled with storms. You will learn of this location via a new storyline NPC, Akhamet, who will guide you through the story of the Giant-Kings.

It’s also a nice addition as it gives players another reason to return to the Unnamed City. All its used for is farming rarer materials and fighting the bosses that occupy the region. Before venturing off the the East of the map or the Volcano Hinterlands to the north.

There’s not much else known other than the storyline takes place across three further chapters to be released over the coming months.

In addition, the patch features legendary gear repairing, something players have wanted for a while. The patch also comes with a tonne of other QoL features, ranging from 210-slot inventories and save slots increased to 10, to more FSR support for older Nvidia cards, quick deposit interactions in the inventory menu and better death notifications for Thralls who are downed.

The update also comes with a lot of bug fixes, tweaks and other known issues the devs are still working on, whether carried over from older builds or introduced when the Enhanced Edition migrated Conan to a new Unreal Engine version. You can find all the other fixes here.
