The annual Six One Indie Showcase was an absolute smorgasbord of hidden gems, with a range of very cool-looking, under-the-radar indie games getting a real chance to shine. Across a full hour, the show’s curators presented plenty of must-wishlist titles, with some major standouts amongst the pack.
With 50 games games on show, it was difficult to pick favourites – and it all depends solely on taste and vibe – but we’ve whittled down our list to ten games that dazzled our eyes. There’s plenty to discover for yourself, so we’d strongly recommend watching the entire show, but if looking for the highlights, here’s everything in the Six One Indie Showcase 2025 that tickled the GamesHub team.

Away From Home

A new trailer for Away From Home also featured during the Six One Indie Showcase 2025. This is a lovely-looking pixel adventure where your journey is determined by rhythm. Beyond its bright, lush art style, what most stands out about this upcoming game is its neat combat, which tasks you which defeating enemies to a funky beat. This game launches on 22 October 2025.
Scaravan 66

Scaravan 66 is a very fun-looking combat roguelike where you’re controlling a demonic vehicle, and facing off against an army of other demons. This was one of the most unique games of the Six One Indie Showcase, with plenty of style, panache, and weirdness to attract its intended audience. What’s most interesting about this game is that it appears to take some cues from Crash Bandicoot‘s racing levels, with a slice of added goth charm. Keep an eye on this one as it heads to early access launch on 16 July 2025.
Hotel Barcelona

A new trailer for Hotel Barcelona, an upcoming game from Swery65, Suda51, and White Owls Inc., aired during the Six One Indie Showcase 2025. As you’d expect, the game looked suitably bonkers in this latest look, with the trailer showcasing weird demon creatures and surreal battles, as well as some platforming elements.
For a brief explainer, this game is all about a federal marshal who’s possessed by a serial killer, and is also trapped inside the titular Hotel Barcelona, with little hope of escape. It’s a conundrum that’ll likely make for an incredible trip.
Rue Valley

Rue Valley is a narrative RPG that appears to take plenty of cues from Disco Elysium, in overall vibe. You play as a man trapped in a time loop, but while you can take great strides in your adventure, you’ll be held back by the thoughts in your head. As shown off in a new trailer, Rue Valley lets you define your character’s personality and traits, and these will determine exactly what moves you can make, and whether or not your quest will be successful.
A Week in the Life of Asocial Giraffe

A Week in the Life of Asocial Giraffe also featured in the Six One Indie Showcase for 2025. This upcoming game is an incredibly endearing puzzle sim, where you control a giraffe with extreme social anxiety. It’s so extreme that if he interacts with any person, his head literally explodes. We played an early demo of this game as part of LudoNarraCon 2025, and we were absolutely enamoured by the subject matter, and how it’s adapted to gameplay.
