Cult of the Lamb is getting its first paid DLC expansion on 12 August 2024, in the form of the Pilgrim Pack. This expansion will introduce a brand new interactive comic tale which “shows the world of Cult of the Lamb as you’ve never seen it before.”
This story-focussed chapter, which has been developed by Massive Monster alongside writer JoJo Zhou and artist Carles Dalmau, will introduce new and returning characters, weaved together in a tale of bloody mystery and intrigue.
“In the story of Pilgrim, you’ll join Jalala and Rinor as they journey across the Lands of the Old Faith, searching for a place to call home,” the DLC’s description reads. “If they can survive the dangerous Cultists looking for new sacrifices, the terrifying creatures hunting for a meal, and the strange mushroom-peddlers… not to mention rumours of a wicked beast who stalks the land, searching for their next victim… then they might just make it.”
Early footage has revealed Pilgrim will be a choice-based narrative, with players able to guide the story as they lead Jalala and Rinor through the many horrors that await. It appears to be an altogether different game from Cult of the Lamb, expanding on the lore and story of this adventure in fresh new fashion.

In addition to providing new flavour, the upcoming Pilgrim Pack will also introduce new content for the base game, including two unique Follower quests, five new Follower forms, two new outfits for Followers, and five new decorations.
This content will launch alongside the free base game Unholy Alliance DLC, which will introduce an array of new features. As previously announced, Unholy Alliance allows local co-op play, with one player embodying the evil Goat. It will also introduce new relics, Follower quests, tarot cards, fleeces, traits, buildings, craftables and more.
