The time for some vampire on vampire battles is fast approaching and if you’re still yet to pick up a copy of The Blood of Dawnwalker, knowing what editions are on offer will be vital info.
There are four editions of The Blood of Dawnwalker: Standard, Day One, Eclipse, and Collector’s, with each one including the full game at the very least. The differences, as you might expect, come down to whether you want digital extras or vampiric goodies.
Here’s a complete breakdown of them all so you can pick one out nice and easily before the game’s release.
What’s included in each The Blood of Dawnwalker edition?
The Standard Edition is basically the bare-bones copy that most will probably opt for. It’s available physically and digitally, making it the obvious choice if you simply want to experience the story without shelling out more for additional extras.
If you prefer something tangible, however, the Day One Edition is arguably better value. Alongside the base game, you’ll receive a Steelbook featuring artwork of Brencis’ court and a solid-sized World Map of Vale Sangora, designed in the style of 14th-century illuminations.
Better yet, the Day One Edition costs the same as the Standard Edition, so if you’re wanting to add something to your physical collection, it’s hard to argue against getting a couple of collectibles thrown in for free.

The Eclipse Edition is very much the opposite of the Day One variant, ditching physical collectibles in favor of three digital extras: a Digital World Compendium, Digital Comic Book, and Digital Soundtrack.
The comic acts as a prequel to the game, while the compendium offers a deeper look at Vale Sangora and its history. You can also purchase the Eclipse content separately as an upgrade for the Standard or Day One Editions later, which is always nice.

And finally, for those of you out there wanting absolutely everything, there’s the Collector’s Edition.
This one combines the Steelbook and World Map from the Day One Edition with all three Eclipse digital extras. You’ll also get a whopping 60-page hardcover World Compendium and a 23cm PureArts Coen figurine, which is especially cool because it supposedly shows both his human and vampire forms.

As you’d expect, though, this is a limited-run edition and will only be available while stocks last, so keep that in mind.
