The Wolf Among Us Remastered launches October 29 on PC, PS5 and Xbox Series X|S

The Wolf Among Us Remastered launches today, 29 October 2026, on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, per the game’s Steam store listing, and is listed on Telltale’s own product page. The enhanced version of the 2013 noir detective thriller arrives ahead of the full sequel Telltale announced at Summer Game Fest in June.

The remaster carries all five episodes of the original game, and GameRant reports that every character has been rebuilt as a new high-resolution model rather than simply upscaled, alongside improved lighting, fine-tuned animations and upgraded environments. A new Noir Mode lets players run the whole story in black-and-white, switchable against the standard look at any time with one toggle.

What’s in the package

Alongside the visual overhaul, the release includes new behind-the-scenes content: developer commentary, concept art and interviews. Deleted scenes cut from the original 2013 game have been restored and are playable. Bigby Wolf’s werewolf form has been redesigned to look more terrifying.

The game’s Steam listing shows Telltale as both developer and publisher, with no price announced yet. A Nintendo Switch version was announced alongside the others but has reportedly been delayed with no confirmed date, a change GamesHub covered earlier.

A bridge to The Wolf Among Us 2

The remaster arrives as Telltale builds toward The Wolf Among Us 2. GameRant’s background places the sequel’s release window in 2027, though Telltale has not stated a date.
