Farming Simulator 25 gets major Beans & Alpacas expansion
By GamesHub
GIANTS Software has released Beans & Alpacas, a major new expansion for Farming Simulator 25, confirming on the game’s official Steam store news page at 12:30am AEDT on 28 October that the add-on is now available.
The Swiss studio, which both develops and publishes the farming simulation series, gave no price or feature list in the announcement itself. A launch trailer titled “Farming Simulator 25 – Beans & Alpacas Launch Trailer | PS5 Games” was published on PlayStation’s official YouTube channel, confirming the expansion has reached PS5 alongside the PC release on Steam.
What is known so far
The Steam announcement carried the headline “Beans & Alpacas: Major New Expansion Now Available!” but no further detail on the page. The Steam post itself lists no features, content breakdown or price, and neither it nor the PlayStation trailer mentions Xbox or Nintendo platforms.
Farming Simulator 25 launched on Steam on 12 November 2024 and supports single-player farming as well as multiplayer co-op.
Why it matters
Major expansions are the main way GIANTS Software keeps a nearly two-year-old simulation title earning and its player base engaged between numbered releases. The PlayStation trailer on launch day signals the studio is treating consoles as a first-class platform for the expansion rather than leaving the rollout to Steam.
Players wanting the new content can find the expansion through the Farming Simulator 25 store page on Steam or on PS5’s PlayStation Store. The Steam announcement does not state a price for Beans & Alpacas.
