CoinPoker has released the schedule for its Battle of Malta Online Series, a $30 million guaranteed online poker festival running from July 12 through August 3.
The 23-day series includes three Main Events with $3.1 million in combined guarantees, a $1 million CoinMillion, High Roller events, 77 trophy events, and 100 Battle of Malta Autumn Edition live packages valued at $2,500 each.
The flagship event is the $565 Battle of Malta Main Event, which carries a $2.5 million guarantee. Multiple Day 1 flights will run during the series before Day 2 takes place on August 3.
Two lower buy-in Main Events are also scheduled. The $55 Main Challenger has a $500,000 guarantee, while the $11 Main Crusader has a $100,000 guarantee. According to the announcement, all three Main Events are also tied to Battle of Malta Autumn Edition package promotions.
CoinPoker will also bring back the $215 CoinMillion tournament, which previously appeared during World Poker Masters. The Battle of Malta Online Series version is scheduled to begin on July 12, with Day 2 taking place on July 13. The event has a $1 million guarantee, and the winner will receive a physical trophy and a digital Trophy Cabinet award.
Another returning World Poker Masters event, the $1,500 CoinMasters BITCOIN, is also listed for the series with a $1 million guarantee.
In addition to the online prize pool guarantees, CoinPoker said it will award 100 Battle of Malta Autumn Edition live packages during the promotion. Each package is valued at $2,500 and includes a travel budget and a €600 Main Event ticket for the Battle of Malta Autumn Edition, which is scheduled to run from October 27 through November 4 in Malta.
The packages will be awarded through two routes. The Battle of Malta Champion’s Trials promotion accounts for 75 packages, with players earning entries by reaching participation milestones in eligible tournaments before progressing through Quarter Finals, Semi Finals, and Finals.
A further 25 packages will be distributed through Main Event promotions. Day 1 chip leaders in the $565 Main Event will win packages directly, while chip leaders in the Main Challenger and Main Crusader will qualify for dedicated package freerolls.
The series will also feature 77 trophy events. Each trophy event will award a physical Battle of Malta trophy and a digital CoinPoker Trophy Cabinet award. Winners can collect trophies at the CoinPoker Trophy Ceremony during the Battle of Malta Autumn Edition or have them delivered.
CoinPoker said players who attend the Trophy Ceremony during the Battle of Malta Autumn Edition will also receive a €600 Main Event ticket for the live series.
The Battle of Malta Online Series follows CoinPoker’s World Poker Masters festival, which the company said awarded more than $48 million across its schedule. CoinPoker has positioned the new series as part of its partnership with Battle of Malta, bringing the live poker brand into an online festival format.
