It’s no secret that GTA+ has changed considerably since Rockstar launched the subscription service in 2022. Initially, it just offered GTA Online players bonus GTA$ and vehicles, but the service has since expanded to offer many more exclusive benefits for its members.
But what is GTA+? And is it even worth it? In this article, we’ll bring you fully up to speed on everything you need to know about the service.
GTA+ is an optional paid subscription service offered by Rockstar, primarily for GTA Online players.
A monthly membership generally offers ongoing benefits plus additional rewards that change during GTA+ Event Periods. These range from free vehicles, GTA$, and RP bonuses to exclusive discounts and cosmetics. Members also have access to the GTA+ Games Library, which grants free access to selected Rockstar titles.
GTA+ costs $7.99 / £6.99 / €7.99 per month, depending on your region.
Rockstar only offers a monthly subscription plan that renews automatically unless you cancel GTA+. There is no annual package, which means you’ll pay for 12 separate monthly subscriptions. However, it also means you can sign up selectively whenever a GTA+ Event Period has the rewards you want.

GTA+ benefits can be divided into ongoing membership features and rotating Event Period rewards.
The main benefit of a GTA+ subscription is that you receive GTA$500,000 every month, which Rockstar will deposit directly into your Maze Bank account. Members also have exclusive access to the Vinewood Club (more on that later), including its garage, vehicle workshop, Car Club, and mobile app.
There are also ongoing GTA+ rewards like extra Diamond Casino Lucky Wheel spins, free or discounted CEO and VIP services, free vehicle requests, Taxi service perks, permanent Gun Van visibility, and exclusive bonuses whenever you purchase eligible Shark Cards.
Every GTA+ Event Period brings additional benefits like a free vehicle, higher GTA$ and RP payouts, discounts, cosmetics, Chameleon paints, liveries, and even early access to new GTA Online content.

Vinewood Club is a collection of exclusive perks and discounts for GTA+ members. It includes the Vinewood Car Club showroom, a 100-vehicle garage, a Vehicle Workshop, and a mobile app.
The Vinewood Car Club is located inside an industrial warehouse on Elysian Island in Los Santos, San Andreas. Once there, you can view a rotating selection of premium vehicles, which you can test-drive or purchase at special prices. GTA+ Event Periods also regularly feature a vehicle that subscribers can claim for free.
All GTA+ members will also receive access to the Vinewood Club Garage, which can store up to 100 personal vehicles, plus a workshop supporting various specialist vehicle modifications.
Additionally, the Vinewood Club App lets you request vehicles, replenish ammunition, collect eligible business safe earnings, and even remotely manage certain business activities for added convenience.

No, GTA+ does not currently include GTA 6 as a benefit.
However, Rockstar has linked the products. GTA 6 pre-orders and digital copies purchased before Nov. 20, 2026, include one month of GTA+, allowing buyers to access the subscription benefits at no cost.
If you already have an active GTA+ subscription, redeeming the offer will extend your next billing date by 1 month.
GTA+ can definitely offer more value than its $7.99 monthly subscription, but it depends entirely on whether you actually use the rewards.
For example, the July–August GTA+ Event Period offered members the Grotti Veleno GT for free, which is normally worth GTA$3.09 million – and that’s on top of the standard GTA$500,000 monthly payment. That alone represents GTA$3.59 million in direct in-game value.
However, GTA+ members also received GTA$2 million off a Mansion and GTA$1 million off its Art Studio expansion, meaning someone who was already planning to buy both could save another GTA$3 million, bringing the total hypothetical savings up to GTA$6.59 million.
Besides the headline savings, the 100-vehicle Vinewood Club Garage and the ability to manage certain business activities remotely via the Vinewood Club App can also provide meaningful value to regular players.
Obviously, not every month is automatically worth $7.99, especially when the discounts don’t provide any real value (or you’re not planning to redeem them). However, if the vehicles or bonuses already make sense for how you play GTA Online, then a single Event Period can easily justify the subscription price.
No. GTA+ is not available on PS4. The subscription is only available on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and GTA V Enhanced on PC.
