WARDOGS has confirmed its Early Access release date will arrive on September 10th, giving players the chance to jump into the game. In addition, the developers have confirmed there will be a closed beta, with those who pre-order guaranteed access.

The pre-order price is currently set at $39.99 with regional pricing equivalent. In the dev video, the team confirms the price will increase over time. When the endgame content is added, the price will rise to $49.99, and then to $59.99 when the full game launches.
It is a fairly interesting move, with pre-orders for an Early Access game being a relatively new approach. In the announcement trailer, the lead UI/UX designer explains that opening pre-orders for an Early Access game gives the developers key data points needed for predicting server capacity per region. Those who pre-order also get access to the closed beta test.
The dev team also confirms that pre-orders can be refunded, and they are entirely fine with it. So if you only want to test the game during the closed beta and decide it is not for you, you can refund without issue.
The news comes from a trailer framed around why you should not actually buy the game just yet. In effect, it details a soft roadmap and outlines exactly what content is coming in Early Access. Note, there is no dedicated roadmap, rather they’ll address feedback where possible, and adapt their frequent patches around key balancing, pain points, bugs and things like that. They will gradually implement a new map in the first patch, then other systems as they get closer to launch.
The maps themselves appear to take place in more urban settings, similar to the one seen in the closed alpha featuring the drill towers. There is also one set in a more industrial space. Each map has three variants that alter roughly where the main circle is located.

The dev team also confirmed when the WARDOGS closed beta will be. The dates are now set for August 21-23rd. Preorders, as mentioned, will get you access to the closed beta guaranteed. You can also request access too and try your luck at a random invite.
