Pre-ordering Mortal Shell 2 will get you the Skeletal and Obsidian Harbringer skins, both of which can be applied in-game.
These appear to be purely cosmetic additions, so you’re not getting stronger weapons, bonus currency, or anything else that will make the opening hours any easier. Considering Mortal Shell’s reputation for being rather unforgiving, you’ll still need to put the work in yourself.
If you like having a few extra cosmetic options from day one, though, the two skins are a nice little incentive for securing your copy ahead of release.

If you are thinking of pre-ordering the more expensive Devout Edition, you’ll also receive up to 72 hours of early access, allowing you to start playing several days before Mortal Shell 2 officially launches on August 20.
This is technically another pre-order bonus, since you’ll only get it for pre-purchasing the game, but let’s just say that’s a bit of a stretch.
