Halo: Campaign Evolved is allowing everyone, yes, even you PlayStation owners, to get in on some classic Master Chief action.
The main levels are all there, with a load more polygons to boot, as well as some added prologue stuff that even you serial Halo lovers will be experiencing for the first time.
If you have already secured your copy of Halo: Campaign Evolved, or are just teetering on the edge of picking up a copy ahead of launch, knowing what the pre-order bonus is sweetens the deal that bit more.
Halo: Campaign Evolved pre-order bonus, explained
We’re happy to report that the Halo: Campaign Evolved pre-order bonus is a relatively juicy one, featuring some nice OG-themed gear, alongside shiny new stuff too.
If you pre-purchase the game, you’ll receive the Foundry Armory Pack containing the following set of items:
- Classic 2001 Mark V Armor skin
- Classic 2001 Assault Rifle skin
- Gilded Onyx Armor style
- Gilded Onyx Assault Rifle style
This pre-order bonus is available to any and all who does buy the game ahead of launch, meaning it doesn’t matter which edition you choose. No silly physical manual nonsense here.
Basically, you can just secure the more barebones, inexpensive Standard option and still net the extra goodies.

Something to note is that even though Halo: Campaign Evolved does have an early access period, you just need to buy your copy before the July 27, 2026, release date, and you’ll be eligible.
Obviously, those who want to feel the full force of nostalgia will be slapping the Classic 2001 skins on right away, transporting you back a whopping 25 years. The Gilded Onyx cosmetics, on the other hand, are more fitting for ‘today’ as we alluded to earlier, with some nice gold accents for a more bougie-looking Chief.
If you plan on playing Campaign Evolved at any point, you might as well get a pre-order done, otherwise you could regret not being able to play through the game as the true OG Chief.
