It isn’t just the three new cars that are coming in the July update, as Gran Turismo 7 also welcomes three new races to the game as well.

  • Lightweight K-Cup – Nürburgring Nordschleife
  • Japanese FF Challenge 450 – Alsace – Test Course
  • Race of Turbo Sportscars – Fuji International Speedway

The new races add fresh scenery to the game with one in particular giving use to a new car from the update.

The NISMO R34 GT-R Z-tune will be ideal to use for the Race of Turbo Sportscars at Fuji International Speedway, while the Nissan and Honda will be best utilised in the Japanese FF Challenge 450 and Lightweight K-Cup races respectively.

While we know a little about the races already, players will only be able to find out more about the format and race prizes once the update is officially live.

As well as the new races and cars available in the 1.61 update, players will be able to race against GT Sophy in a new special event and custom races on the High Speed Ring track.

The Gran Turismo 7 1.61 update will launch in the early hours of Thursday morning, with players able to download the new version of the game from 02:00 EST.
