A Las Vegas slots player hit the jackpot last weekend with a $1m slots payout that was won with a $250 spin.
The player, who chose to remain anonymous, was playing the Dragon Link slot machine at the Circa Resort & Casino on Saturday 12th July (2025) when they landed a ‘fire-breathing’ nine-figure payout – making them an instant millionaire.
This huge jackpot win was reported in a Facebook post on Sunday – with the casino responding to the story by saying
“Last night, Dragon Link breathed fire […] and left a million-dollar trail.
“$250 spin to $1,082,545.37 win. The dragon’s awake,” the casino wrote in the post.

Casino Slots Players Took To Social Media To Congratulate The $1m Winner
The social media post attracted a lot of interest with fellow slots players taking to the comments to congratulate the mystery millionaire – with one adding “$250 a spin? I have to look for that just to pay a bill!”
With another one saying “Wow, Circa has been paying out million-dollar jackpots like candy.”
This comment was most likely relating to another big Circa Resort & Casino payout that happened back in March 2025. When another lucky casino slots player – named only as ‘James’ – landed $1,016,145.14 when playing the Dollar Slot game at the same venue.
However, unlike the $250 spin for this recent $1m win, the March mega payout came with just a $2 stake.
After the big win online casino slots players and experts were also speculating on the odds on winning the Dragon Train jackpot – this came around as someone claimed to have seen two different players winning big (but not $1m) just a few minutes apart – but in another casino.
“Last night I witnessed someone win a $21.3k grand jackpot of Dragon Train, then not even 1 minute later, the person two seats to their left won it too after it had only hit $15.04k (resets at $15.0k). Seriously, if anyone knows what are the odds of this even happening???,” they said on social platform Reddit.
Casino Slot Machine Revenue Up 2%
A recent report from the American Gaming Association revealed that revenue from table games and casino slot machines has increased by almost two percent from 2024.
While it was also reported in April 2025 that traditional online casino slots machine offerings (and table games) were responsible for $4.14 billion in revenue in America.
With slot machines on their own being responsible for $3.06 billion, which is up 2.5% – with the table games sector bringing in $761.8 million – which is down 2%.
