The all-new PlayStation Plus subscription service is now available in Australia, providing PS4 and PS5 users the option of three tiers – Essential, Extra, Deluxe – with each offering different perks and access to a hefty catalog of PlayStation games.
While the baseline Essential tier is basically PS Plus as it’s existed for many years, PS Plus Extra and Deluxe tiers offer access to a library of PS4 and PS5 games for download, for as long as your subscription is active. In addition, the highest tier, PS Plus Deluxe, offers access to a library of PS1, PS2, PS3, and PSP classic games.

In this article, we’ve collected all the classic PS1, PS2, PS3 and PSP games currently available to Australian subscribers.
It’s important to note that the PS3 games on offer in PS Plus Deluxe for Australia are actually remastered versions that have since been released on PS4. In other regions, actual PS3 games are accessed through cloud streaming – an option not currently available in Australia.
Before we get into that, here are the prices of each new PS Plus tier, so you can determine whether access to these games is a suitable option for you and your video game playing habits.
- Essential (the same benefits as standard PlayStation Plus): AUD $11.95/month
- Extra (same benefits, plus massive library of PlayStation 4 and 5 games): AUD $18.95/month
- Deluxe (all the above benefits, plus PlayStation 1, 2 and PSP games for download): AUD $21.95/month
To access the new version of the service, simply head to the ‘PlayStation Plus’ tab on your PS4 or PS5 console, and scroll down to see exactly what’s on offer.
