Literally clean rebel scum in PowerWash Simulator 2’s Star Wars DLC

PowerWash Simulator 2 is flying into a galaxy far, far away with its newly revealed Star Wars DLC, letting you scrub the grime off some of the most iconic places and vehicles in sci-fi history.

Set across the Original Trilogy timeline (and we obviously don’t talk about Episode 7 onwards), the expansion drops you into the robotics of P0-W2 instead of the usual boots of a standard cleaner.

Before you ask, yes, there’s backstory to the aptly named P0-W2.

You’ll be a Class Five cleaning droid who quickly finds itself caught between both sides of the Galactic Civil War. What starts as routine Empire-issued clean-up work soon changes, as you end up quite literally clearing the way for the Rebel Alliance.

As we suggested earlier, the nostalgic locations are doing a lot of the heavy lifting. You’ll not only get to experience the dusty chaos of Tatooine, but also the frozen battlefields of Hoth, which might seem crazy, but the remnants of AT-ATs do need a bit of a clean.

Of course, PowerWash Simulator’s whole thing is getting up close and personal with the dirt, and that means every scorch mark, oil spill, and layer of galactic muck gets the full treatment.

Naturally, you won’t be tackling it with just any old washer you’d find on Earth. The DLC introduces a bespoke power washer that fits right into the Star Wars aesthetic.

The devs describe this an “elegant weapon for a more civilized age,” which makes sense, since you’re swapping laser blasters for soap and water.

And if you fancy not cleaning alone, the co-op options are still very much available. You can run through the campaign solo or team up with a friend to form your own droid duo, while Free Play supports up to four players for maximum cleaning efficiency.

It might sound ridiculous that you’re literally power washing the galaxy, but for me, it just makes sense. I’m 100% beelining to spray off a filthy X-Wing and bring it back to pristine condition before it goes off on another dogfighting escapade.

PowerWash Simulator 2’s Star Wars Pack launches Summer 2026, and you can add it to your Steam Wishlist right now.
