Powerhouse title Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, a game with one of the most memorable soundtracks in years, is getting a vinyl courtesy of Laced Records. Pre-orders open tomorrow.
Expedition 33 on Vinyl
Laced Records, a company known for pressing various game soundtracks onto vinyl, is tackling Expedition 33 as its latest release.
Pre-orders go live on July 24th at the following times, and will last for a few weeks, according to an X post:
- 15:00 CEST
- 14:00 BST
- 09:00 EDT
- 06:00 PDT
The post also features a charming announcement from Ben Starr and Jennifer English, the voice actors of characters Verso and Maelle, respectively.

While details are sparse until tomorrow, it appears that Laced will ship to most countries, including Mexico. It is not able to ship to Brazil, however, as per an X post, but it may be available at other retailers.
We’re unsure of the price, but don’t expect it to be cheap.
Laced Records’ Silent Hill 2 Vinyl goes for $42.00 before additional fees, as do many of its other offerings like some original God of War pressings, a Doom: The Dark Ages soundtrack, and a Civilization VII vinyl.

Various deluxe edition vinyls go for over $100, and we can assume Expedition 33 will receive one of those as well.
The Rise of Expedition 33
Expedition 33’s soundtrack is one of the greatest soundtracks to grace gamers in recent times. I’m even listening to it while writing this! The fact that it’s getting a vinyl release shows that publisher Kepler Interactive is listening to fans, and it’s undoubtedly one of many other merch items that will be available to us in the coming months.
The game’s composer, Lorian Testard, alongside Alice Duport Percier and Victor Borba, created 154 tracks for a total of eight hours. Testard was found on Soundcloud.
Testard shares a few words regarding his creation of the soundtrack on Steam:
“Thank you, Expeditioners, for listening and for the unique bond that video game music creates between us.
This project has been an incredible journey, spanning years of work and dedication. I’ve had the chance to collaborate with amazing people and friends.
I don’t yet know how the music will resonate with players, but what I do know is that I loved every second of creating it. I gave everything—I have no regrets. I poured my heart and soul into it, and I’m incredibly proud of what we’ve created.
It has been a part of my life for so long, and it’s hard to express how much it means to finally share this music with you.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart—for listening, for embracing the game and its music, for making it part of your own journey. I can’t wait for you to experience it.”
In other Expedition 33 news, voice actor Charlie Cox promised to play his first video game in nearly 30 years.
