Het bedrijf heeft namelijk aangekondigd dat er meerdere nieuwe delen van zowel Assassin&rsquo;s Creed als Far Cry in ontwikkeling zijn. Dat zal voor veel fans, na alle zorgen en speculaties over de toekomst van het bedrijf en zijn franchises, als een opluchting komen.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In een uitgebreid interview heeft CEO Yves Guillemot laten weten dat Ubisoft zich de komende jaren vooral gaat richten op zijn grootste en succesvolste series, namelijk Assassin&rsquo;s Creed en Far Cry. Door te focussen op deze vaste pijlers wil Ubisoft terugkeren naar een voorspelbaar releaseschema en tegelijk deze waardevolle franchises van nieuw levensbloed voorzien.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Meerdere nieuwe Assassin&rsquo;s Creed-titels in de maak<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De toekomst van Assassin&rsquo;s Creed ziet er in &eacute;&eacute;n klap een stuk vrolijker uit dan <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameshub.com\/nl\/nieuws\/bedrijf\/donkere-wolken-pakken-zich-samen-boven-ubisoft\/\"><strong>een paar maanden geleden<\/strong><\/a>. Volgens Guillemot werkt Ubisoft momenteel aan meerdere titels binnen dit merk. En het gaat daarbij niet alleen om de bekende openwereld-RPG&rsquo;s waar de serie om bekendstaat. Wat kunnen we verwachten?<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Grote singleplayer-avonturen:<\/strong> Na het succes van <a href=\"https:\/\/store.steampowered.com\/app\/3159330\/Assassins_Creed_Shadows\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow\"><strong>Assassin&rsquo;s Creed Shadows<\/strong><\/a> blijft Ubisoft inzetten op grote, verhalende games voor &eacute;&eacute;n speler.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Nieuwe multiplayer-ervaringen: <\/strong>Multiplayer wordt een belangrijk onderdeel van de toekomst van de serie. Dat gerucht ging al langer rond en is nu dus officieel bevestigd.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>De remake van Black Flag:<\/strong> Verschillende bronnen geven aan dat de verwachte remake van Assassin&rsquo;s Creed IV: Black Flag (met codenaam Obsidian) versneld wordt ontwikkeld, en dus niet (zoals gedacht) wordt vertraagd vanwege de herorganisatie. Hiermee wil Ubisoft inspelen op de grote vraag naar een moderne versie van dit piratenavontuur.<\/p><figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Assassin&amp;apos;s Creed Remake Just Leaked...\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/Jum3xbPZHng?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Ook twee nieuwe Far Cry-projecten op komst<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het was de laatste jaren vrij stil rond Far Cry, maar daar komt nu verandering in. Guillemot heeft bevestigd dat er twee aparte Far Cry-projecten in ontwikkeling zijn. De details zijn nog geheim, maar volgens berichten gaan de nieuwe spellen twee behoorlijk verschillende richtingen op.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Far Cry 7 (Project Blackbird):<\/strong> Dit wordt waarschijnlijk de volgende <em>main game <\/em>in de serie. Volgens geruchten zal dit spel flink afwijken van de bekende Far Cry-gameplay, met mogelijk een niet-lineair verhaal en een tijdsdruk-mechanisme, waarbij je binnen een bepaalde tijd je doelen moet behalen.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Een losse multiplayergame (Project Maverick):<\/strong> Dit zou een extraction-shooter binnen het Far Cry-universum gaan worden, met maximale chaos en vrijheid. Het zou gaan om een spel met een grote focus op multiplayer.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">De nieuwe strategie van Ubisoft begint vorm aan te nemen<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De aankondigingen van de nieuwe spellen maken deel uit van de herstructurering binnen Ubisoft. Het bedrijf zet daarbij in op minder experimentele nieuwe games en op meer aandacht voor zijn grote, winstgevende franchises. Het langetermijndoel van de reorganisatie is om series, teams en strategie&euml;n te cre&euml;ren die nog tientallen jaren meegaan.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Een belangrijk onderdeel van die nieuwe aanpak is de oprichting van Vantage Studios. Dit nieuwe &ldquo;creative house&rdquo; staat onder leiding van Christophe Derennes en Charlie Guillemot, en heeft het voordeel dat de teams zich volledig kunnen focussen op &eacute;&eacute;n franchise. Dat moet volgens de directie zorgen voor spellen met een hogere kwaliteit en regelmatige nieuwe releases.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Wanneer kunnen we de nieuwe games verwachten?<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Offici&euml;le releasedata zijn er nog niet, maar gezien het aantal projecten dat nu in ontwikkeling is, lijken 2026 en 2027 belangrijke jaren te worden voor Ubisoft.
