Met Curse of Ula&rsquo;tek krijgen spelers een nieuwe outdoor zone, een raid met acht bosses, een nieuwe dungeon en natuurlijk de start van Midnight Season 2.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nieuwe Mythic+ dungeons in Season 2<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Laten we beginnen met waar de meeste spelers waarschijnlijk het meest benieuwd naar zijn: de nieuwe Mythic+ rotatie. Voor fans van <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameshub.com\/nl\/bookmakers\/esports\/\"><strong>WoW e-sports<\/strong><\/a> is dit extra interessant, want de Mythic+-pool bepaalt ook grotendeels in welke dungeons teams de komende maanden intensief gaan oefenen voor competitieve events zoals de Mythic Dungeon International.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In Season 2 komen er acht dungeons in de pool. De nieuwe en huidige expansion-dungeons zijn Altar of Fangs, Murder Row, Den of Nalorakk, The Blinding Vale en Voidscar Arena. Daarnaast keren er drie bekende dungeons terug naar de <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gameshub.com\/nl\/nieuws\/pc\/dit-zijn-de-vijf-beste-klassieke-mmorpgs\/\"><strong>epische MMORPG<\/strong><\/a>: King&rsquo;s Rest, Ruby Life Pools en Temple of Sethraliss. King&rsquo;s Rest en Temple of Sethraliss kennen we nog uit Battle for Azeroth, terwijl Ruby Life Pools uit Dragonflight komt.&nbsp;<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nieuwe zone: The Coiled Isle<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De grootste toevoeging van deze patch is The Coiled Isle, een nieuw gebied aan de oostkust van Zul&rsquo;Aman. Het eerdere verhaal van Zul&rsquo;jan gaat hier verder: spelers trekken samen op met Zul&rsquo;jarra, die haar broer probeert terug te halen naar Zul&rsquo;Aman. Ondertussen ontdek je steeds meer over de verborgen geschiedenis van het eiland.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Wat deze zone anders maakt dan een standaard open-world gebied, is het speciale talentsysteem. Je krijgt een eigen talent tree die alleen in deze zone werkt. Daarmee kun je upgrades vrijspelen die je sterker maken of het spelen makkelijker maken. Zo zijn er bijvoorbeeld talenten die het giftige effect in de zone minder gevaarlijk maken.<\/p><figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-video is-provider-youtube wp-block-embed-youtube wp-embed-aspect-16-9 wp-has-aspect-ratio\"><div class=\"wp-block-embed__wrapper\">\n<iframe title=\"Curse of Ula&rsquo;tek Unleashed | WoWCast\" width=\"640\" height=\"360\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/MXj5oa878G4?start=2&amp;feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe>\n<\/div><\/figure><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Versla elites voor een vervloekt vispartijtje<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Coiled Isle draait niet alleen om quests. Er zijn ook public events die langzaam opbouwen naar boss fights. Verder zijn er Curse Surges, waarbij zeldzame elitewezens verschijnen op vijf wisselende plekken op de map. Daarnaast is er Cursed Fishing, waarbij je waardevolle vissen uit het giftige water kan ophengelen. Dit wordt beschikbaar zodra de rare elite op een locatie is verslagen.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">De zone is door dit alles levendiger dan veel andere open world-gebieden. Het doet een beetje denken aan een mix van Argus en de event maps uit Guild Wars 2, waar spelers samen steeds naar grotere events toewerken.<\/p><h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Nieuwe dungeon en raid<\/h2><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Het eiland brengt ook een nieuwe dungeon: The Altar of Fangs. Deze dungeon heeft drie bosses en is direct speelbaar zodra de patch live gaat. Bij release kun je hem spelen tot en met Heroic difficulty. Een week later wordt hij toegevoegd aan de Mythic+ rotatie van Season 2.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">En er komt natuurlijk ook een nieuwe raid: The Venomous Abyss. Deze raid heeft acht bosses en vormt de afsluiting van het verhaal rond Zul&rsquo;jan en The Coiled Isle. De eindbaas is Ula&rsquo;tek zelf, een stokoud en behoorlijk grimmig wezen.<\/p><p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Naast de grote contentupdate zijn er ook kleinere vernieuwingen. Zo komen er updates voor player housing, nieuwe PvP-beloningen en nog wat extra quality-of-life verbeteringen.
