Job Purpose

3D Character Artist – We are looking for a highly talented 3D Character Artist to join us in creating Star Wars™: Hunters, a competitive arena combat game for the Nintendo Switch system and mobile devices. Star Wars : Hunters will bring players together to engage in thrilling, team-based, multiplayer battles featuring a diverse array of distinctive new Star Wars characters.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Working from concept art you will produce highly detailed 3D character art assets.
• Creation of both high resolution and game resolution assets.
• Cross discipline collaboration to achieve the final in game artwork.
• In engine asset integration.

Required Experience & Skills

• At least 2 years’ experience working as a character artist on one released title.
• Strong understanding of 3D Character Art Processes from sculpting through to final textured models.
• Knowledge of materials and PBR style workflow.
• Good understanding of game mesh topology and uv creation.
• Must have a good artist’s knowledge of human anatomy, including muscle origin and insertion points, as well as bony landmarks.
• Ability to work within a stylised art direction and a portfolio that demonstrates affinity in this area.
• Maya, ZBrush, Substance Painter and Photoshop

Desirable Experience & Skills

• Traditional drawing skills a bonus.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Unreal Engine Experience an advantage.
• A passion for Star Wars.
