Sony ha divulgado sus datos financieros del trimestre cerrado el 30 de septiembre, destacando el sólido desempeño de PlayStation 5. La consola acumula 84,2 millones de unidades<\/strong> distribuidas globalmente, con 3,9 millones<\/strong> en los últimos tres meses, un leve aumento frente al año previo. Se cumplen cinco años desde su lanzamiento.<\/p>

PS5, cifras clave y comparación con PS3<\/h2>

PlayStation Network<\/a> suma 119 millones de usuarios activos mensuales<\/strong>, ganando tres millones más que en 2024. En software, PS5 y PS4 juntas movieron 80,3 millones de juegos<\/strong> en el periodo, un repunte de 2,6 millones. De estos, 6,3 millones<\/strong> fueron first-party, un millón extra interanual. El 72%<\/strong> optó por digital, tendencia al alza. Y todo en medio de las nuevas noticias que llegan sobre PlayStation Portal<\/a> para jugar en la nube.<\/p>

Lanzado el 2 de octubre por Sucker Punch, Ghost of Yotei<\/strong> ha distribuido 3,3 millones de copias<\/strong> hasta el 2 de noviembre, en solo 32 días. Supera ampliamente el ritmo de Ghost of Tsushima<\/strong>, que tardó 118 días en cinco millones.<\/p>
