Advanced Diploma of Game Programming

Overview

Our industry-driven Advanced Diploma program give you the skills to launch yourself into the games industry. This two-year vocational pathway focuses on developing graduates with strong knowledge of C++, C# and game development best practice. Game Programming students work on a series of game projects with Artists and Designers to develop their game development and teamwork skills.

Study Schedule

Advanced Diploma students work in industry-simulated studio environments and complete one subject at a time, building upon knowledge as the learning pathway progresses.

Students in the first year will study two Diploma programs simultaneously through the completion of eleven subjects. In the second year students will undertake another seven subjects to complete the Advanced Diploma.

Prerequisites
To enrol in this course, you will need to attend an interview where your suitability for the course will be assessed. To help the instructors understand your current skills and interests, your portfolio of related work will be reviewed. Students need either to have either completed Year 12 or achieve an Exit Level 3 score within the Australian Core Skills Framework assessments in reading and numeracy.
